A properly drafted Last Will is essential for a good estate plan. Over the
years, we have developed an expertise in assisting clients prepare a sound and
effective estate plan. For the process to be effective, advice is not limited to
legal input. A knowledgeable financial planner, insurance agent and accountant
is as important as good legal advice and drafting. The approach is
multi-disciplined and a knowledgeable client is the best start to a good estate
plan. Original Wills are stored in fire-proof cabinets and copies are
stored electronically off-site. In addition to your Last Will and
Testament, it is important to have a Personal Care Power of Attorney and a
Continuing Power of Attorney in place. The laws related to powers of
attorney have changed significantly in the last few years and a review of this
aspect of your estate is important in order to minimize governmental
interference in the affairs of your family and those you wish to provide for. We
have over the years acted for a number of trust companies and have assisted in
the preparation of last wills and testaments for their clients. We have also
assisted many clients with the administration of the estates at the appropriate
time.

and send the completed appropriate portion of the form to us by email, fax or
Canada Post and we will contact
you for an appointment. If you do not have access to a printer then please
call our office at (905) 826-5670 and we can set up an appointment for you to
drop in and pick up a blank form from Reception.
